Tooltech has substantial experience in this area. We undertake hull design, 3D modelling, creation of production drawings and nesting.
• Hull design:-
Creation of detailed models based on basic drawings. These facilitate block wise production and erection. The work includes hull modeling, production drawings, nesting, material reservation, plate & profile lists, weight & COG and bending & jigs sketches.
• Hull 3D model: -
Creation of 3D model with all information such as bevels, shrinkage, assembly, and identification of position numbers etc. It comprises of planar and curved hull structures of side shell, decks, bulkheads, masts, funnels, superstructures, tanks etc. by positioning the plates, stiffeners, penetrations / deck pieces, platforms, brackets etc.
• Hull production drawings:-
Creation of all sectional views such as side shell, deck, bulkheads etc. which indicates position numbers of plates and profiles, bevels, block limits, prefabrication codes, weight and centre of gravity etc.
• Nesting of plates:-
Creation of burning tapes, nesting production charts, NC-generic files, post-processor files and bending data.
Tooltech has wide expertise in the area of creation of 3D models and layouts of equipment, structures, machinery parts, piping, cable trays and HVAC systems.
• Equipment / Machinery room layouts:-
Generation of equipment / machinery room layouts, foundation and support structures taking into consideration, operating and maintenance envelopes etc.
• Piping systems:-
Comprehensive piping solutions based on 3D modelling from P&ID enabling extraction of spool jigs, pipe supports, penetrations, weight and material take-off lists including prefabricated pipes and fittings.
• Heating Ventilation & Air Conditioning (HVAC):-
Development of duct designs taking into consideration size factors and penetration through web / girders etc. The ducts are suitably routed resulting in generation of optimum production spool drawings and material lists.
• Cabling:-
Creation of 3D volume of equipment, cable trays and effective routing of cable trays.
Tooltech's work in this area includes the creation of basic interior drawings, material specification for different areas of the vessel and drawing out list of materials. Details include production drawings.
• Ceiling installation drawings: - 
This includes ceiling panel installation (basic support, carrier profile, ceiling panel etc), electrical equipment installation (down lights, cameras, neon lights, smoke detectors, LCD etc), prefabricated ceiling modules (wooden, plaster etc), sprinklers installation etc.
• Wall panel installation: -
Production of wall panel installation drawings which include wall support installation, wall panel installation, artwork on walls etc.
• Floor installation: - Consists of fitment of tiles, carpets etc.
• Furniture installation: -
Comprises of wooden furniture like welcome desks, cupboards, bamboo planters prefabricated artworks etc.
• Steel outfitting for ceiling & wall panel installation: -
Formation of skeletal structures of angles and square tubes for holding carrier profiles, basic supports in ceiling panel installation and for holding wall panel support frames in wall panel installation.
3D modelling of equipments:-
We provide detailed design and CAE solutions for various marine equipment such as hatch covers, winches, cranes and railings, mast and antenna.
